Such reviews are being modest... Hell ya! I want a set as long as Prince's was! Drums drums drums (Also props to Coachella for redeeming themselves with this year's EDM compared to last year's fiasco for the most part)

I'm just hoping there's no conflict with Sigur Ros and The Postal Service. They were awesome at OSL

I think The Postal Service should get the sunset slot on the Outdoor with a quiet main then Sigur Ros on the main directly after.

their show at hollywood forever last year has to be one of the best live performances i've seen. if i end up finding a way to go to coachella this year, i will not pass up the opportunity to see them again!

One of the greatest live music moments I have ever witnessed was seeing them perform "Untitled (8)" as their final encore at the Greek Theater in Berkeley. Just as the song reached it's climax it started to rain and it was like a sign from God acknowledging the perfection of the moment.

How are they not playing the Outdoor? I imagine them about as popular as Beirut, who played the Outdoor a few years back. They are definitely not bigger than New Order, the XX or Phoenix.
There is no way Saturday ends without some kind of Sophie's Choice style conflicts.

Main: Hot Chip > the XX > Phoenix
Outdoor: Postal Service > Sigur Ros > New Order

is a very real possibility. To add even more to the fuckery, it's possible Spiritualized could play at night in the Mojave against the SR/XX/New Order clusterfuck.

They should have just moved New Order to Sunday. That would have really cleared everything up. Sigur Ros headlining the Outdoor against Phoenix. PS and the XX subheadlining each stage.

Sunset is usually around 6:30-7:00, which would be too early for Sigur Ros to go on. Also, I really hope they do get the Outdoor. The main isn't as intimate and is just too goddamn big, which is the same difference.

In terms of the SF Bay Area venues they've played, they are usually in the 1500-2500 seat range (Fox, Greek, Fillmore). They did headline one of the stages at OSL this last year.

I have to repeat what everyone else said because it's so true. Do not miss this set under any circumstances. Sigur Rós are truly incredible live.
If they get any less than an hour it will be a travesty.
