    Default Sigur Rós 2013

    Very excited to finally get a chance to see them after many years of wanting to. And then ended up missing them at OSL.

    Given their type of music, does anyone envision them closing out the Outdoor stage on Saturday? Or are they more of a lead-in to Outdoor/Main?

    they NEED to be on the Outdoor during sunset

    So glad someone started this thread, they were wonderful at OSL. having them at sunset would be magical, but i think they are a night time slot. i was hoping they would be playing after Phoenix, but i dont feel like they would close the main stage maybe during?
    also, i apologize for being html illiterate. here is them at outsidelands. bonus points for anyone who can quickly explain how to post a video

    I am 100% on board with this. I only mentioned them being a possible closer since they closed out one of the mains during OSL. Up against Metallica, I believe.

    To post a youtube video here you put just the youtube ID (everything after the "=")
    in a [ YT ] youtubeIDhere [ /YT]

    Do this without any of the spaces in the YT tags. So in your case, it'd be [YT ]c1apgMPI_q4[/YT] without the space.

    Supposedly they are going to have a brand new stage set up that will be much better at night. I think they will play the main at around 9 pm. Set of the weekend in my opinion.

    i saw them at lolla last year in the middle of the day. sigur ros in the middle of the day is...weird. i'm praying they get the sunset slot on the outdoor.

    One of the greatest live music moments I have ever witnessed was seeing them perform "Untitled (8)" as their final encore at the Greek Theater in Berkeley. Just as the song reached it's climax it started to rain and it was like a sign from God acknowledging the perfection of the moment.

    Can't wait to see them back on the Polo Fields.
