not too big on Pusha solo but i expect to smoke about 5 joints during Blocka...fuck i'm excited to hear that live. Raider Klan will be a disaster and the OF kids will aid that lmaoooo.

I'm hoping they give Tity the A$AP slot from last year...really don't want to see that set in the sun

Wu Tang needs a backing band.

I very much predict a Wu disaster. I love Wu-Tang, and been to many shows, but they barely figure out how to put it together when they are at a club where they're allowed to come on stage whenever they want and take as long as they want, 0 chance this goes smoothly. They would have been much better off doing a Raekwon and Ghostface show, or Method-Man, or just a couple guys, instead of a whole set with all of them.

If you've not seen Wu before, and are expecting something great. Prepare to be disappointed. Jurassic 5 will be the hip-hop show to be at in '13.

Listening to Theophilus, reminds me of Cudi, more pop. Especially on Wine and Chocolates.

    TERRIBLE hip-hop acts this year...

Theophilus London was alright with his "I Want You" mix tape, but he'll probably perform his latest CD which is mediocre at best. He'll bring out A$AP Rocky at some point and perform "Big Spender" and that will be "a moment."
Earl Sweatshirt is not ready for a festival like Coachella. His stage presence will be boring and will probably just have Tyler in the background dancing like an idiot trying to steal the spotlight. We might see some special guest performances from OF, but does anyone even care?
2 Chainz is terrible... enough said...
Pusha T really is a "feature" rapper. None of his solo work is memorable at all, the only reason this guy is even on the line up is because he's a part of GOOD music, but that's pretty much it...
Jurrasic 5... aight, they're okay, won't break my leg trying to get to their stage either...
    Wu Tang... meh...
    Aesop rock... why not...

Overall... could have been 100x better. Nas? The Throne? Cudi? Kendrick repeat, had the best rap album of 2012 no doubt... Pharrell? J Cole? A$AP Ferg is coming up huge... Ab-soul, Travis Scot, Joey Bada$$... I could go on... HIT-BOY could have been an awesome show if he just showed up with his iPod playing some of his productions...

    EXTREMELY disappointed

I'd much rather have The Clipse, than Pusha T, but you seriously would want Cudi or J. Snore. Or that dirtbag, Travis Scott. 2 Chainz is more exciting than all of them. What the hell would Pharrell perform, unless it was N*E*R*D? I'll agree with you on Earl, though. I'm excited for it, but I doubt he has much stage presence alone.

Hip hop needed one act, and one act only: Outkast.

Yeah, there was also this thing called Clipse that was one of the nastiest hip-hop groups of the past ten years, I mean they only released one of the greatest and grimiest albums of the 2000s...yeah, G.O.O.D. Music features are the only reason he's on the lineup, definitely.

Why are you even mentioning Clipse? It's not Clipse... It's Pusha T...

Wow. I actually agree with Sonicc. Slightly.

2chainz will be WILD and RACHET as fuck. I hope they don't have him go against Phoenix.

Hopefully Pusha T brings out Malice or someone else.

I find that unlikely. Why wouldn't GV just book The Clipse instead?

Dammit the one year I can't make it and they put together a solid hip hop line up. Glad to see Danny brown getting some love here. No Sean Price or Homeboy Sandman?

Danny Brown is gonna be sick, J5 is gonna be sick, I hope the Wu-Tang are dope, Action Bronson is gonna be dope, Earl is going to be so hyped and excited the energy will be sick,

Is Earl going to be able to perform without Tyler there to shove a camera in his face? Looking forward to Danny Brown for sure.

Of course he will, Earl isn't at all of Tyler's solo shows, if any.

I saw Earl's first tour performance in December and he has a stage presence, he has a lot of energy and he can rap his ass off.

Yeah, Earl killed it at the OF Christmas show.

Also, his new album, Doris, should be out by Coachella. Can't wait to hear the new material.

As much as I hate the 2012 kendrick timeslot, I'm kind of hoping Danny Brown gets that, just so he doesn't conflict with Sigur Ros, Postal Service, etc etc

Action Bronson sounds a lot like Ghostface Killah, and he's not nearly as good.
