They sold out the Hollywood Bowl last time they played Los Angeles. It holds 18,000. Same as the Forum. So yes they can.

Yeah, that'd be cool. Meeting for dinner/drinks, that is. I asked Jen to research what's in the area. Are you familiar enough with it to have any suggestions? The only other time I was there was for Massive Attack in 2006. My license was suspended at the time due to a DUI incurred earlier in the year so I drove up with my friend Matt. We went to Ono's Hawaiian BBQ, which was awesome, especially the macaroni salad, which has like 1,000 calories in a regular serving by itself. Don't really think that's a nice enough option, especially with the lack of alcohol, but damn does it bring back good memories.

Does anybody have room for one more in their ride? I live on the north side of town, but would be willing to meet anywhere in the valley.

You're probably right - if they're like me, they're there for the I Heart Spicy Pie.

Opening night of the Phoenix tour only sold around 1,200 tickets so far in Vancouver in 2 days. 2,800 set theater.

The one that I have in mind is the Arcade Fire.

I also would like to re-word my last statement a bit.. I meant that Coachella is willing to prop bands up as headliners before there is consensus that they are headliner material.

Kings of Leon might be another example, no?
    Bad Example-KOL was/is a weak headliner

    Gotta admit....

Love their songs, love their albums... I even love their acoustic sets...

Go watch them live on YouTube and see how much this band sucks live.

I don't mind much, because I plan on singing with the crowd the whole time, but truly, they suck live.
