I love the National but I don't see them at headline level. Although if the Stone Roses can headline I guess anyone can.

yeah. he has to play up Stagecoach, especially with camping gone. and as far as him wanting to make Stagecoach an "event", doesn't taking away camping eliminate that possibility??

Florence & the Machine (new album in the works)

The National (everyone here thinks they got it, but OSL and Bonnaroo don't seem to think so)

MGMT (new album in works, supposed to be more out there than congratulations)

Foster the People (new album coming soon)

Fun. (they blew up, not sure when next album comes out)
No one on your list can headline. Fuck off.

And I'm just gonna tell you all this right now, and you don't have to listen to me if you don't want to, but Daft Punk isn't playing next year, so just shut up about it now and save yourself from wasting anymore time on the thought of it.

    headliners bolded

Foster The People (Apparently a new album in the works)
Sam Sparro (New album in the works)
Klaxons (New album in the works)
Lianne La Havas (gaining popularity in the U.S.)
    Sade (no reason at all)
    M83 (as a proper sub-headliner)
Jack White in some form or another
    Plastikman
Above and Beyond or Armin Van Buuren (Paul Oakenfold and Infected Mushroom let everyone down)
    deadmau5
    Basement Jaxx (making new music)
Closure in Moscow (album in the works)

I also expect some more Deep and Tech House next year and less Modestep... We really all should be praying for this.

Going to put this out there: if there is ever going to be a year for U2, it could be next year. They've already said the next album will be a bid for continued relevancy -- one of the tongue in cheek proposed album titles is Ten Reasons to Exist -- and they may actually see a splashy Coachella performance and all of the attention that would come with it as something more meaningful than just a big payday.
