I hope Justin Timberlake headlines one day, not only because I believe he would actually put on a really good fucking show, but it would be entertaining to see the PMS tirade menik would go on.

I think deadmau5 has a good chance of headlining. he already has a pretty good stage installation and apparently he's changing it up for 2014.

Pearl Jam would be grand, but last year made the most sense for them. Maybe they wanted to release a new album to promote before they played coachella? Whatever the case, please, please, pretty please GV book PJ!

    Pearl Jam
NIN (with tiesto in the sahara)
Lady Gaga -> Depeche Mode (don't know why, but this makes sense to me... maybe I'm retarded)

After having seen JT live, I wonder why anyone would want him to headline by himself. JT/ Jay Z would be a killer headliner, and the dude does have a lot of good songs, but come on... two to three+ hours worth? Neh.

You do realize that the typical coachella headliner gets 1.5 hours to play right?

Rolling Stone is rumoring a Bruce Springsteen Australia tour in Feb 2014

    http://www.rollingstone.com/music/ne...-2014-20130814

You guys probably already covered it but I didn't see it in the past few pages. Seems unlikely though, would be a waste without an unusually long timeslot.

Are you feeling one and a half hours of JT? I prefer headliners that I'd like to see two to three hours of, who have two to three+ hours of doable material. I guess I should have been more specific.

I agree. I mean I enjoyed JT, but the parts when Jay left and he was by himself kind of dragged.

The best thing he did in that whole show was the cop voice on 99 Problems. That was awesome.

Yeah, it was an awesome show, but the audience was sort of divided. The JT fans who knew all the words to his songs (ladies), and the Jay Z fans who knew to appreciate what they were seeing. Something for everyone, and I'm a JT fan as well, but I was really there to see Jay Z.

or that he doesn't get salmonella poisoning from peanut butter.
    Whiskey Sour

    2 oz blended whiskey
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 tsp powdered sugar
    1 cherry
    1/2 slice lemon

Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

What's the longest set time ever given a headliner?

It would be misfortunate if he were hospitalized for any reason.

Dammit, officially getting my hopes up for a Bruce set at Coachella after the tour extension announcement to February/March today.

For the sake of dreaming, hopefully they'd give him 10:30 PM - 1:00 AM and he plays a bit past curfew. He had a 3 hour 30 minute set at Bonnaroo in 2009 but that isn't really possible.

Is it two jokes in one, or do you actually think Brucey wouldn't be one of the worst headliners ever?

If there's any question of whether or not he would be right for headlining the festival, refer to Jack Johnson. Maybe we born to Suuuuuuuub.
