Neither Kanye nor Jay-Z will headline. Too soon.

The only hip hop artists that haven't headlined yet that are capable of headlining are Outkast and Eminem and we all know Outkast isn't happening any time soon. Eminem, however, is releasing a new album and has headlined several festivals over the past few years.

The Sex Pistols have done several tours with original bassist Glen Matlock. Pretty good shows actually. Not sure if Coachella would be interested at this point though since their reunion has been done already.

Literally. It'd be like the most important show of his music career.

    Friday: Mumford & Sons
Saturday: NIN / TOOL / Depeche Mode
    Sunday: Kanye West

FYI, I didn't pick Kanye for Sunday because i think it would be cool, but i was listening to the new album today and i think he's too narcissistic to pass up headlining on Easter Sunday and being able to advertise the 'resurrection of Yeezus at Coachella.' That sounds like it would be right up his alley.

"As much as he’d like to do something by November, things may actually begin in February… It’s been a process that has been worked on for a while. He is 1000% touring in support of Yeezus, but its all about scheduling and co-headliner thoughts now"
Friday - OutKast / The Replacements / The Afghan Whigs / Shlohmo / GOAT / Flatbush Zombies / Glitch Mob / John Spencer / DJ Falcon / The Bots
    Saturday - QOTSA / NAS / CHVRCHES / Temples / Mogwai / Warpaint / DARKSIDE / Ty Segall / Graveyard / Carbon Airways
    Sunday - Beck / Disclosure / Motorhead / Little Dragon / Trombone Shorty / Frank Turner / Bombino / Bad Manners / J. Roddy / Scuba

It'd be weird to see QOTSA sub with this "weak" headliner crap. I don't want to imagine them opening for Mumford

I didn't think Arcade Fire would return for two more album cycles, but now that I think about it, it's entirely possible.

After headlining so many festivals this year, including Lollapalooza and Sasquatch, I think it's extremely unlikely.

    My bet (and hope):

    Justin Timberlake
    Daft Punk
    Neutral Milk Hotel

If Neutral Milk Hotel can't headline Mountain Oasis, no way they can headline Coachella.
