I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. . . . corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.
Yeah, the Three O'Clock are so far my favorite band that I didn't know existed prior to the lineup announcement. The albums are solid. The tunes are catchy. There aren't many bands I'd see over them Sunday.
This is the way I remember them. Still amazed they're on the line up.
Same here! I was just playing Baroque Hoedown record that I bought at Camel Records back in '82!
After listening through most of your albums a couple times here is what I am hoping to hear.
She Turns to Flowers
Mind Gardens
Happen Happened
A Day in Erotica
And So We Run
I Go Wild
The next level down from that would include
Grimly Forming
Fall to the Ground
Seeing is Believing
Hand in Hand
On my Own
Thanks!
I am glad I found out about you guys. Excited for the set.

Couldn't tell they've been gone so long. On top of their sound and they looked excited to be back. Michael's voice may have even sounded better than on record. They played most stuff from Sixteen Tambourines and Baroque Hoedown. Highlights for me were "Lucifer Sam," "When Lightning Starts," and "And So We Run." They didn't play anything from Ever After or Vermillion. But I ain't complainin'.
YEA!

Had the best time last night seeing them again after so many years! Loved the Birds cover of Feel a whole lot better too! Can't wait to see them again this weekend!
Was very surprised as well to see their name in little bold letters on Sunday. Started checking these guys out when bands like Stone Roses & Primal Scream started naming them as influences. John Squire is a big west coast pop fan.

I was thoroughly impressed, especially with the guitarist.

Hell I was telling Jason how impressed I was with him even before he brought that bad boy out. That was just icing on the cake.

I was there for a few opening songs. I had no idea who they were. They were good, but I wasn't quite feeling them:-/

Sad I missed the Coachella set (bought their tote bag like a fanboy tho). I'm gonna try to get over to that Troubadour set next Wed.
