It takes a fast car, lady,
To lead a double life.
Just got into the "fine print" and was shocked, this is a BIG deal. If you miss this set you're doing it wrong. Salvation Army, just nuts!

really hope they play this song
I just checked these guys out. I'm liking what I hear. Thanks for posting the videos. I'll definitely be checking them out.
Saw the same lineup at the Greek and Irvine Meadows on that same tour - in my top 10 shows all-time. Very pleasantly surprised at this. I wonder if these guys have even played instruments in the last 20 years. Clearly, there is someone our age at GV whose sole job is to dig up classic 80's underground acts and reunite them.
Old guys alert!
I do distinctly remember The Three O'Clock coming out in all their paisley glory. And their songs are damn catchy. Unfortunately I also remember not really paying much attention. I was so over the top in love with Reckoning and Fables at the time, all I wanted was for them to hurry up so REM could come out.
Like you say, it's hard imagine the show will be especially tight. Still very much on my daytime short list for Sunday.

I am absolutely surprised at seeing them on the poster. The first time I saw them was 1983 at the Concert Factory in Orange County. Yikes!
This is one if the sets I'm most looking forward to... I couldn't believe it when I saw their name (in tiny font).
Coachella 99, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 07, 09, 10, 11, 12 (wknd 1), 13 (wknd 1)
I'm really looking forward to this set as well.

This is gonna be fucking great!
We appreciate your interest in the band. Our last performance was in 1988. Which songs you would like to hear?
What band did you go on stage with at the Greek?
Whiskey Sour
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 cherry
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

Wow! No idea who these guys were before this thread. Pretty excited to delve into them based on just the 3 songs posted. I logged in just to say how relevant this music feels to me despite its age. Nice snag Goldenvoice! Especially glad they are on Sunday. The weekest day on the lineup IMO.
