Just got into the "fine print" and was shocked, this is a BIG deal. If you miss this set you're doing it wrong. Salvation Army, just nuts!

I saw them open for R.E.M at Radio City Music Hall in NYC on the Fables of the Reconstruction tour.

Happy to see them again after so many years.

Saw the same lineup at the Greek and Irvine Meadows on that same tour - in my top 10 shows all-time. Very pleasantly surprised at this. I wonder if these guys have even played instruments in the last 20 years. Clearly, there is someone our age at GV whose sole job is to dig up classic 80's underground acts and reunite them.

    Old guys alert!

I do distinctly remember The Three O'Clock coming out in all their paisley glory. And their songs are damn catchy. Unfortunately I also remember not really paying much attention. I was so over the top in love with Reckoning and Fables at the time, all I wanted was for them to hurry up so REM could come out.

Like you say, it's hard imagine the show will be especially tight. Still very much on my daytime short list for Sunday.

I am absolutely surprised at seeing them on the poster. The first time I saw them was 1983 at the Concert Factory in Orange County. Yikes!

Me too! I was a little 12yr old Mod and had friends that were friends with the bouncers and they would let me in for the Mod/Ska gigs! The old cuckoo's nest/concert factory in Costa Mesa! amazing times!

We appreciate your interest in the band. Our last performance was in 1988. Which songs you would like to hear?

What band did you go on stage with at the Greek?
    Whiskey Sour

    2 oz blended whiskey
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 tsp powdered sugar
    1 cherry
    1/2 slice lemon

Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

Im digging them too, but worried about the confusion jet fighter could cause.

They sing about both daytime and nighttime. How can they possibly be booked to play in both of these settings?

My mind is going in circles.

No better pop choon than "When Lightning Starts."
"Suzie's On The Ball Now" is fun times as well.

Didn't get around to a ticket, but I'll be searching for one and this band's atop my list of bands to see.

Wow! No idea who these guys were before this thread. Pretty excited to delve into them based on just the 3 songs posted. I logged in just to say how relevant this music feels to me despite its age. Nice snag Goldenvoice! Especially glad they are on Sunday. The weekest day on the lineup IMO.
