Drummer is wearing a Hot Snakes tshirt there in the Wet Hair vid. Works for me.

Anything polyvinyl is worth a watch. Ive been with them since forever. I hope they play at 1.00 when its 105 out. We can all get together and scream.
saw them in tempe in Nov one of the best shows i've ever been to.
I love this band, but I am already at peace with the fact that they will be conflicting with something I have a higher priority for. Still, support.

I missed them in Tempe, so they're my number one priority of the weekend. Sorry other bands.
as much as I enjoy their music, I wish Brian could just shut the hell up for one second inbetween songs.
I'll probably see their set since I like their first album .I still feel like their second album is a modern indie Taking Back sunday-esque album with a Gun Club cover in the middle of it.
Vote to make "The House That Heaven Built" the new entrance music for the Vancouver Canucks.
Seriously. Do it. Now. Don't let any of these other awful songs win. I don't care if you hate the Canucks. Do it for Japandroids.
Friday is pretty stacked already...I hope there aren't any major conflicts.
Friday: Blur, Modest Mouse, Lou Reed, Passion Pit, Of Monsters & Men, Divine Fits Japanroids, Alt-J, Jake Bugg, Skinny Lister, FOALS
Saturday: Phoenix, The Postal Service, Dropkick Murphys, Two Door Cinema Club, Franz Ferdinand, Violent Femmes, SMD, Allen Stone, Ben Howard, Vintage Trouble, Reignwolf
Sunday: RHCP, Vampire Weekend, The Faint, Tanlines, Rodriguez, Pretty Lights, La Roux, Tame Impala, Father John Misty, Hanni El Khatib
saw japandroids in NYC in december/november/some shit had a BLAST. . they put on a very fun show and they're really friendly as well.
DEFINITELY GO SEE THEM!!!!!!!
I will be up in the front, sneaking in liquor, wearing a free winona tshirt. keep your eyes peeled bitches!
I generally don't like when others do what I am about to do, but what is Japandroids appeal? They are much beloved by folks I respect, but they sound pretty run of the mill to me. Do comparisons to The Hold Steady + the Replacements + DFA 1979 sound right? I think part of my confusion comes from the abrasive quality of the lead singers voice, which I imagine could be significantly improved in a crowded club or a sweaty festival pit. If I am walking by their set I will stop by.
DRUGS ON KIDS
bumping to call attention to the unnecessary second japandroids thread.

OH OH OH OH OHOHO OH OH!
probably will catch none or next to none of this set because of the worst conflict ever. fucking thanks, obama.
Everything is back burner to Japandroids.
Nothing will conflict with this set.
Even though I look it, I'm not a cop.
Coachella 10, 12.1, 13.1
Lalapalooza 94
I was hoping to catch this whole set, but it looks like Metric will eat into the beginning of Japandroids set. I will definitely be there after Metric though. Friday is STACKED!
