Also, any setlist that excludes Temptation is a failure.
funny, they're billed as Bad Lieutenant, and only 40% of their set is Bad Lieutenant material.
You will have millions of opportunities to see most of the bands that are playing on Saturday in the future.
New Order is not one of those bands.
I have wanted to see New Order for decades. I'm looking forward to this. I like the guys who are old as me.
Everythings gone green should also be played. This is so great. Im so happy theyre on the lineup.
Absolutely 100% agree. This is by far my all time favorite song from them. I will cry if they don't play it.
Also I hope there isn't a hot chip conflict... I am not sure if you guy shave seen it but there is a video on youtube of hot chip playing no fit state where they have a new order tribute of temptation. I would put it up but can't get to youtube at work.
Did anyone else notice this on the Lineup page of the main website?

As disappointed as I am that Hooky is not going to be with the band, New Order is still at the top of my "must see" list. I am looking at this as a once in a lifetime opportunity.
All Coachella virgins will be tasered.
New Order was AMAZING in the fall at the Greek. Absolutely recommend seeing them.

"Touched By The Hand Of God" - total long shot, but could die contentedly if they played this.

I still can't believe they are actually playing again. Gonna be some awesome!
I agree that any set without Love Vigilantes and Temptation would be lacking, they wouldnt do that to us, those are singalong gems.
A lot of you are saying their set in 2005 sucked, and maybe I was just high, but my friend turned to me real Raoul Duke and said, "We've just wandered into a fucking TIME CAPSULE!" and we time traveled back to the 80s and everyone looked like a Fast Times at Ridgemont High wet dream come true and it was pure bliss.
Looking for more of the same in April!

Out of control would be grand, but not really theirs.
Someone like you would make it for me tho.
At some point in time a man switches from "I'll have what he's having" to "I'll have what I'm having."

They were pretty fantastic at the Greek. Crowd was full of hipsters and people who looked like my parents. They have to be playing before Phoenix on the main, right?
Probably on the main before The Postal Service would be my guess.
I hope they play on the Outdoor. It would be borderline criminal to have someone on stage right tapping on their watch during "True Faith", telling the band to wrap it up so the Postal Service has more time to play deep cuts off of their one album.
Close the outdoor, please.

I would prefer that for sure but I think they will end up on the main.
