    So legit.

Might be the quintessential 2013 booking: remove 90% of the "dub"step and replace it with the man who literally invented dub.

That being said: will this set be good? He's seminal, but so is poor Sly Stone...
1 Coachella before I got sober, 7 since. I support both versions. If you wanna do the sober version, roll with us:

It's been there from the beginning.. the weak Britpop headliners Friday; the rumors that DP was gonna play, that it was a done deal, then all of a sudden 'oops, no, not gonna happen'; and now the new album. It's all so obvious.

He played the ATP curated by Animal Collective in 2011 and everybody said it was a great performance.

    Hope he plays this one

felt horrible about missing Gil Scott Heron that one year...not making that same mistake with Lee.

Arkology isn't a bad primer, although it's sequenced kind of weird with songs he produced for other groups being immediately followed by the dub versions, which can get kind of repetitive.

Thoroughly agree. I guess they can't make the 4/20 date too blatant. Snoop and Dre didnt play 4/20 either did they?

I'm sure it will be good. The 'Return to Django' album has a few real gems (Take off your jacket and sack it this is COld Sweat, Soulful I, Eight for Eight, Live Injection, A Dangerous Man from MI5), but I also doubt he'll tap into that history.

Dear Lord. It's gonna get really awkward during his newer songs like that "Pum Pum" shit. Not the Lee Scratch Perry I was wanting to see.

    Anyways, dub up your afternoon:

FOUR TET. HOT CHIP. SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO. BOOKA SHADE. LEE SCRATCH PERRY. BEACH HOUSE.

Richie Hawtin. James Blake. Loco Dice.
