I would just like to tell mrhand to kiss my ass for calling me a "fucking idiot" in the Rumors thread...
So excited to see Damon again!

Hi drewskee. blur sucks dicks. You're a fucking idiot.
But you were correct in saying they could be a jr. headliner and I was wrong. I grossly misunderestimated the Golden Voice infatuation with washed up shitty Britpop douchebags. I won't make that mistake again, as I've already slotted Travis and The Verve to headline Friday night at Coachella 2014 with special guests Noel Gallagher's sideburns.
Enjoy the show with the other 17 jackasses singing the woohoo while 75,000 non-retarded people watch something that's not blur and that doesn't suck horse cocks.
Friday night will be the least populated main stage in the history of Coachella. I'll probably walk by a few times just to laugh and point.
Have a wonderful woohoo and tell Oklahoma it smells like steaming diarrhea.

Glad some of the non-fans here have given their music a chance, blur have an incredibly diverse discography that goes way beyond Britpop and 'Song 2.' Their last three albums are my favorite, especially Blur and 13. Graham Coxon is one of those guitarists who knows the art of playing with heavy distortion/effects. He can make his guitar sound like a living creature. I wouldn't see them had he not rejoined the band
I apologize for telling anybody that Blur would never headline. Totally did not see that coming.
Regardless, I am stoked.

There is absolutely nothing anyone can say to justify having Blur headline a major music festival in Southern California.
Do you have the same opinion about Hendrix playing after The Who at Monterey Pop Festival in June 1967 when his debut album had only been out a couple weeks and the audience were clueless?
Also, Watch Blur draw 18,000 people in Mexico like PULP did in 2012.
How many Coachella attendees do you think fly in from another country?
I'm also surprised (but thrilled) with the Blur/Roses co-headliners, especially with the lack of respect Coachella usually shows to britpop/british bands (Suede and Kasabian in the mojave, Noel Gallagher and Kaiser Chiefs in mid-afternoon, etc). Blur sounded kind of rough at the Brit awards, hopefully they've got their act together.
I want to hear this song, it will make me very happy:
So fucking pumped for this
Easily my #1 act of the festival
So are they billed first or The Stone Roses?
I have seen two different posters on the Coachella.com
Yeah, it has Blur first on my browser but my friends said theirs had Stone Roses first. Guess it's just to emphasize the fact that they're "co-headlining".
Country Sad Ballad Man and Parklife and I die happy

For all the people who, like me, knew Blur was obviously headline material
"The Future is Unwritten"
Question for you all... Charmless Man, about Morrissey or Brett Anderson? Moz clues are title is a play on This Charming Man and song has the line about 'wishes he could be like Ronnie Kray' who Moz idolizes. Clues to being about Brett are Damon/Brett were rivals, and the 'he went na na na na na na na' part is just like the way Brett sings on 'Beautiful Ones'. Thoughts?
My bucket for concerts is going to get so much fucking smaller after this April. Oh god blur.

I could see that happening. But, hey, down the front!
since no one is showing up they should open with 'He Thought of Cars' ("there is no one, there is no one"). Make the setlist really obscure. 'Top Man' would sound good in the desert.
Invite Justine down from San Fran and she'll be encouraged to do Elastica in 2014.
Hahah 17 jack asses singing? The festival will be full of Brits, Europeans , Australians who all love these bands. Even if people don't know them the bands will put on such a great show they'll have everyone dancing.
epic!!!
woo hoo.
