I think GV's reached a real bind and is probably going to scale back to single weekends in the future like algunz hinted. I think they lost bigger headliners with the 2-weekend deal. Scaling back to one weekend will make tickets a near-impossibility, but it might be the only way to truly maintain larger-than-life lineups.

Loving the undercard though.

This festival is almost always about the undercard. This is, quite simply, the best undercard I've ever seen. Plus with the Femmes, Lou Reed, Sparks, Johnny Marr, etc., this would've been the undercard for me during high school.

Overall, just unbelievable gets all the way up and down by GV. My only downer is that I know there will be a ton of conflicts. Like having too much pithcing, it's a good problem to have. Can't wait.
