Sidenote, why do all the radio stations in LA suck majorly. KCRW is alright at times, but they mostly do NPR News and stuff. MBE is only 3 hours a day.

The major radio stations will always suck because of the bureaucratic nature of their parent companies (clear channel, cumulus, etc). Although I highly disagree with KCRW being alright. A torchbearer for indie radio and the strongest station in the country IMO. When they play music they break new stuff and have awesome artists always coming in for live shows. No one else is doing it as well.
