+1 for Perfect Day, totally agree. The Hand That Rocks The Cradle and The Diamond Sea are great examples too. And ehh Zafocaine, Love Cats is a great song but the ending is nothing special.
The end of this song is the length of an entire song in itself, but the final 4 minutes make up possibly my favorite ending of all time. I can't even express what it's like to experience live...
We can't all pick A Day In The Life, eh? The intro to a song can be just as crucial as the ending. For me, a good song intro would be LA Woman by the Doors. I pick these songs because they have pieces that stand out to me. As someone who writes music, I have a certain taste when it comes to intros/outros. I find it interesting that you criticize peoples preferences as if they can in any way be incorrect lol
