I know, all of the polydor releases are listed on that blog. I'm buying them all if I can find them. I don't have any of those because any time I've found a copy, it's been so expensive.

Vinyl is both singular and plural. I see this misused all the time. You can say I bought some vinyl, I have a lot of vinyl, or I spend all my money on vinyl. Saying/typing "vinyls" just kinda makes you look like an idiot. This is just a head's up. If you insist on adding an "s" at the end use "vinyl records" and not vinyls.

Ha. Yeah, this. I cringe everytime I see/hear that.

Caribou reissues for Record Store Day

Its hard to believe its been 12 years since Dan Snaith released his first album as Manitoba, back in the spring of 2001. In fact, April 2013 marks the 10th anniversary of his breakthrough album Up In Flames, still the biggest selling album in The Leaf Labels history.

To celebrate, were re-releasing all three Leaf albums, making them available on LP for the first time in years. Not only that, but were pressing very limited copies of each LP on coloured vinyl, exclusively for Record Store Day 2013 (the black vinyl editions will be in the shops on May 6). All copies will also include a CD of the album.

Subject to a well-documented lawsuit, Dan was obliged to change his artist name to Caribou, which was first used for the release of his third album, 2005s The Milk Of Human Kindness. Start Breaking My Heart and Up In Flames will be available for the first time under the Caribou name, with fully restored album artwork, while The Milk Of Human Kindness will be an exact repro of the original vinyl release.

I think they were somewhere around $40-$50. Yes Bjork's DMM vinyl sounds great as well!

    I want Post/Homogenic/Vespertine DMM's SO bad

Does anyone have any idea where I could find some UK RSD releases in the LA area? http://www.deathwaltzrecordingcompan...ord-store-day/ I want those three 7"s on that page but I cannot find any store in the US that carries or has even heard of them.

I can't believe this cassette trend is still happening. I hate hipsters so much.

Not a ton that I would go for, but I would definitely pick up that South Park 7". That Astralwerks 20/20 might be cool, too.
    For your health

Cassettes are the most fantastic thing in doucheworld until they bring back the 8 track. 1000 copies of Agaetis Byrjun? Ouch. The full list is officially announced tomorrow, right?

God, they keep adding things I want to get, and I keep having less money. Bastards.

And the Beta Band 12" are UK only. Bastards.

Who the hell would be spending the money on those Aerosmith reissues? I got all of those, in good condition, out of the dollar bin. They're in there all the time. There is no reason for them to be reissued.

they could save us a lot of trouble if they told us which releases will appear in which countries.

I almost never see them in clean shape. They will actually be mint and not "dollar bin good condition".

I have a cheap copy of two of them.

Relationship of Command reissued this year? Last year wouldve been the year to do so. And I guess I should be glad I have the original pressing, it was only 2000 copies back int he day.
