    Not saying I'm expecting them on the lineup, but don't you think that while agreeing to pay them some insane seven figure sum (more than almost anyone else would pay), GV would also try to have rights to the worldwide hype and publicity that would come from running the first confirmed DP show after such a long hiatus?

    You're probably right. Daft Punk signed an extremely restrictive, multi-decade contract with Disney all so they could score every shitty new movie that the company churns out.

    That would piss me off to an irrational degree if their first US show in 6 years was at the shitshow that is Lollapalooza. Anything other than Coachella would annoy me but Lolla would be the absolute worst.

    I don't see them doing any shows before Coachella 2014, and given what's happened (or hasn't, rather) in recent years, I wouldn't be surprised if they waited even later.

    Sorry for bumping with this misleading title, but Daft Punk just changed their cover photo, profile picture, and posted a link to their website on Facebook. And if it wasn't already, they confirmed their label as Columbia as the logo is in their cover photo. something is happening...

    oh my gawd, Daft Punk updated their website, that means they are for sure are going to tour and play all the cities I've said they were going to play. Ive already sold one child off to slavery and spanked out about 4 gallons of spunk to take to the sperm bank so I can afford one ticket.
