Same for me. Started in 09. I won't miss a year, or a weekend.

Missing a weekend is like missing a year for me. I missed Friday of weekend 2 last year, and I'll never let myself live it down.

Each and every year was amazing with great and different peeps each year, but I still think 2002 or 2003 was my favorite because of how intimate the fields still felt. It wasn't quite a zoo yet. You could walk the fields without rubbing shoulders all day. It felt like you and only 40k new about it and not the world.

    Regardless, Coachella is home.
i wish i could've experienced it like this... i was too young though.

I started attending in 2006 because of Depeche Mode and Madonna.

I skipped 2009 because of NASCAR in Phoenix. Fortunately there have been no more NASCAR/Coachella conflicts.

Coachella is the one event I plan my year around. It's been great every year. I've only missed one year and that was heart wrenching. But I had planned a trip to Amsterdam in 2004 and then they came out with the dates, 2 weeks later than the previous year. I was heart broken, but not about to waste my ticket and hotel in for the trip. At least my friends brought me back two t-shirts and a sampler.

I will not miss another one, even if I'm in a wheel chair at 70. I wish they had put out a DVD from that year. I'd buy one for every year if I could.

There's got to be tons of footage for another dvd, or multiple releases since 05. I've been waiting and hoping for the second coming.

Check! I've been every day, every year. Coachella has literally been the sole constant in my life since I was 18 years old.

I always wondered how many of us there are. We should have a group hug or something... or at least lay in the grass and reminisce.

I missed 1999 but went every day, every year since I was 41 years old.
After 13 in a row I'm missing Weekend 1 this year but I'll get to see my first webcast of what's going on.
Coachella really is the best thing in the whole wide world.

Watching Coachella on webcast last year was painful thank god I wont have to do that this year. It's really weird watching other people at Coachella when you expected never to miss one again the rest of your life.

No, I didn't feel bad. Actually, I got to see Paul @ Coachella in 2012 while he was watching Swedish House Mafia.

11 years now. Started in 2002 and only missed 03. Camping since 2007. I live fairly close but got hooked on the camping and realized what a fool I had been for making the drive all those times before.

Epic miss. There's no way that anything you saw can compare to the real Beatle. Not a bunch of cars driving in ovals. Not him watching a shitty band. Nothing. All those blowjobs are starting to scramble your brain, mang.

Camping in 09 was sort of enchanting. All those fucking tents! How do you compare camping since the edition of car camping?

I've been going every year since 2003. What's interesting is that my memories the different years definitely do not all bleed together -- each year has a distinct feel, and when I think about a particular performance or incident I clearly identify it with a particular year.
