Hot Chip question - need help

Ok, so I've got a small situation here..

Hot Chip is playing at the 9:30 Club in april for only $15, and i'm debating on whether or not to go see them. I've never heard them before, so i'll tell you guys what I like and you can tell me if you think i'd have a good time.

My favorite bands are Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, Overseer, Pendulum, Thievery Corporation, LCD Soundsystem (which I heard is very similar to Hot Chip), etc etc. Basically anything electronic/dance/techno or whatever you want to label it.

So would I have a good time? Do they put on a good show? Is it worth the 2 hour drive through treacherous DC traffic?

What would you do?

Go, if you dont like it you can cross it off your list of somebody to maybe check out at Coachella. If you do like it you wont feel so obligated to check them at again since you saw them already, but it can make choosing between them and somebody else easier since you kow if they are good or not. Either way you win.

True, but live they are (insert really large number) times better than on record.

Check them out. I saw them at the Big Day Out festival in Sydney and they were tops. Funky as, and the wee geeky guy with the glasses in the band is hilarious when he rocks out.
