Been a paid member of spotify for a little over a year. Use it mainly on my phone in the car. Vinyl at home.
I've been a premium user of last.fm since before spotify was around and I still prefer its radio over spotify's but since the two of them integrate so nicely together I often use last.fm's recommendation engine to listen to new/new to me releases on spotify since it's easy to listen to an entire release. besides, last.fm is cheaper and I usually only listen to spotify in the office so I don't need the premium features (and I didn't even get condom commercials during christmas!).

I love Spotify for the playlist option but I've had better luck with Pandora if I'm looking for radio. Spotify radio, at least for me, tends to repeat and throw in really random / totally-off-genre suggestions of the station I'm on.
I like Rdio's interface. Been enjoying a premium account for a couple months.

Spotify is my service of choice.
I've had a premium subscription since a couple weeks after it's US launch, and it's the best streaming service I've ever come across.
If you do the pay version, you can choose the audio quality. If you have an iPhone, go into More -> Music Quality. It's normal setting is 96 kbs/sec, and you can choose higher settings of 160 kbs/sec and 320 kbs/sec.
As you might expect from that post, I do Spotify premium and I love it.
What if I'm listening to Spotify Premium on my laptop?
When you go to Edit - Preferences there is an option for High Quality Streaming. I checked it, and am listening with Audio Technica ATH M-50s but it doesn't sound 320 to me.
It definitely sounds much better than before though, so thank you.
Ahh, not so sure about the laptop. Sounds like you took the necessary steps, but I don't have my laptop hooked up to any extra speakers so I just get minimal quality out of the streaming on it. My home listening is almost exclusively vinyl.
I love google music. Have uploaded all my albums onto it and have bought a few on it as well for cheap. It's basically free streaming to my phone of my music, free streaming on computers of my music, and free online storage of all my music that I can download again if I ever need to. Spotify is obviously awesome as well, I use both
Spotify Premium is great. Although I have a few issues with the Android app.
