Yes - the majority of the best shots were with a $300 Sony HX9V - I think there's a new model out now, but it's a great camera for the price. (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Cyber-sho.../dp/B004HYFX0C)

I also shot some with an old Flip camera, and a Canon point and shoot.

And obviously I processed a lot of the shots to saturate the colors and change the frame rate to give it a film look - also added some lens flares and strobes.

Actually, I spent more time at Gobi and Mohave by far than any of the other stages.

The music is maybe one half of the experience - I love meeting new people in the beer gardens, partying in the campgrounds, cooking, checking out the installations, and just generally soaking up the vibe.

I do have a long form of the 2012 video - but it's almost 20 minutes long and drags in places... but it does show that yes, this videographer is aware that Coachella is more than the Sahara and Main Stage.
