In 2010 for example, when Major Lazer performed at that time, Diplo's gear was malfunctioning due to the heat. Same situation the day before that when Raekwon was on at that time and his dj's vinyl turned into mush. If you are in the audience, it is not pleasant at all.

Oh OK, yeah. I think Deerhunter played that spot on Sunday in 2011, I remember being hot and kind of miserable during their set.

Yeah, I remember a lot of people getting taken away on gurneys that year. I seem to remember Lightning Bolt, Major Lazer and Sleigh Bells all in one day caused quite a few cases of heatstroke.

With Sleigh Bells, all the trees kind of turn the area around blue stage into a sauna. And I will not be surprised at all by triple digit temps yet again. I just dont want it to rain, the insane downpour last year before gates opened on friday was not fun at all.

It felt very appropriate to have the assault that is Lightning Bolt during the day on the main stage when it was hot as balls out. It actually enhanced the experience.

When I last saw Lighting Bolt I was falling asleep in the front row at the Smell.Still a great show just couldnt stay wide awake.I really like the lineup compared to last years.Maybe next year I can make it out for this fest.

Falling asleep at a Lightning Bolt show is pretty impressive.

Drinking Bags of bagged whiskey and being in the sun all day at FYF can do that to you when you try to go do after shows.

The only show I have ever fallen asleep at was when I was dragged to an Alkaline Trio show. I went thinking there would be some cute punk chicks, but it was all a bunch of fat, ugly, cutters.
