Sunset the best slot?

I remember seeing Air when they played a couple years ago as the sun was setting behind them. Absolutely incredible. Who would you like to see play at sunset on each day?

day 1 - dj shadow
day 2 - gotan project
day 3 - explosions in the sky

I saw that Air set, fantastic. I also saw Arcade Fire at that set.......MINDBLOWING. I heard Sigur Ros had it last year (*cries*). I agree it is the best slot. Interpol would be a good choice for it, but they will be on later.

Yea, Sigur Ros last year at sunset was amazing.
Actually, all of the sunset slots I have seen have been really great: Air, Arcade Fire, um...I forget who else but its always a great time.

Air and Arcade Fire. Arcade will probablly play later but air is possible. Loved them in 04. I was hungover from the night before so it was nice to lay down and relax.
I am also hoping for portishead to be added but I would like to see them with the sun down. There show is too powerful to be disturb by light

Lets be glad its FAKE! And yeah Explosions would be cool on Outdoor Theatre for sunset... But if its like straight from the poster. JAMC, Decemberists and AIR all play at sunset on the main. Blur did sunset in 2003 and Jack Johnson the next day in 2003.

I think sunset is a really great slot because finally you get a respite from the heat, and it can be really beautiful visually as well, BUT any set after dusk is ideal. If we can get weather like the '05 coachella, all day will be great.

Totally. I mean, if Jarvis plays the Outdoor Theater against Sonic Youth, I'd totally be there, and it'd be nice to get closer, but everyone I know is going to likely be wasting their time camping out at the main stage to see Bjork and Interpol up close. I just hope Jarvis doesn't conflict with Bjork-Interpol-JAMC.
