I actually think putting LP below Soundgarden is right. LP has a huge following, they sell out arenas all over the world.

However, LP is complete garbage. I keep waiting for them to fade into obscurity but it never happens.

Linkin Park will always be billed higher than Soundgarden. I mean as much as I like SG they are no where close to LP's popularity among high schoolers, Los Angeles, and the world

Soundgarden was big like LP at one point, but not so much anymore. I don't listen to LP, but I know that they have more commercial success at this point than Soundgarden does.

A friend of mine is part of the KROQ "Street Team" and claims that they sent him fliers for the event. Take it for what it's worth but what he said seems like it could be pretty accurate.
