I definitely see this happening.
until 3 days ago, i thought i was a good get.
now i think the money could easily be spent better elsewhere, and the options are vast. get 6 headliners (or 12 Coachella headliners) for the price of one.
or Paulvana & friends.
WHAT ELSE DO YOU FORSEE IN COACHELLAS FUTURE? WILL BEACH HOUSE BE THERE TOO?
Welcome to the dark side.
Trolling Stones
They hinted, SongKick confirmed this. Stones at Coachella 2013!!!
talk about going out on a limb with this truely brave prediction
i can't stop thinking of all the acts GV could've booked for the Stones' fee..
the fest could prob pay the fines to go to 2am every night and still lose less money than they're paying the Stones to play a concert that would've easily sold out without them..
We don't know how much they are getting paid... bzzzzzzzzz
They wouldn't be booking The Stones to guarantee a sellout this year. They would book them because it would be a huge coup to land arguably the biggest band on the planet and it increases their prestige and brings even more media attention to the festival.

I think it is more the stones are trying to be relvent to a younger generation than the money aka U2 at Glastonbury.
Didn't Paul McCartney get something like 4 or 5 million in 2009?
i've heard bumblebee claim it but i don't believe it for a second. he played the next night at the Joint in Vegas, and with capacity x ticket cost he had to have gotten less than 1.2 million for that show.
i believe that quote came from what was made off his Giants stadium gig, which was him solo at about chella ticket prices.
