Solid Dome line-up. They would finally get this nice of a dome line up the year I don't attend, go figure.

Stanton Warriors and Plump DJs seem a little too big for the dome. I'd complain about how packed it will be in there, but they will probably conflict with NIN and Paul McCartney anyway so it's not like it will matter to me.

Unless if they are doing it different this year but I always remember the dome closing at 8. But yeah to see either of them you would need to get there early. Shit the line gets long enough as is. I would love for them to bring back Amp Live for the dome one year. Granted I haven't seen that many in the dome but his was by far the most fun set I've seen in there.

I hope you're wrong. NIN and Paul are the two acts that I won't miss for anyone.

As I think Unit was saying the dome closes at 8 so it never conflicts with the headliners unless Macca gets a 2.5 or 3 hour set then there would be a slight conflict with the beginning of Maccas set. Otherwise you wont have to worry about conflict. You will have to worry about getting your ass in the dome which often has a long line. However its usually so clausterphobic in there that most people dont stay too long and the line moves somewhat rapidly.

What do you guys think about Paul getting a double set? I think it's unlikely, but possible. He pretty much always always plays over 2 hour shows.

I'd love to see the whole 40 song setlist he's been doing.

Double set? I assume OSL will just give him his usual 2.5 hour slot.

If he's going to do an abnormally long set it will be this weekend, not at OSL.

If Phish got three hours then Paul will get three hours. However Paul wont take a 30 min break in between.

Most likely they aren't making the dome bigger because they haven't the past three years. The only changes that I remember is the interior light shows which were pretty cool last year.

But I'm with you and have my fingers crossed for a bigger tent since they are getting bigger international acts this year.

I don't know if its been mentioned yet or not, but I caught a bit of the stream from Bonnaroo earlier and noticed that Ustream put an ad up saying that it would be streaming live from Outside Lands this year. Thought it was worth mentioning...

After the triple encore of Bonnaroo, I really hope Superfly gives McCartney an appropriate 3 hour set that he deserves. The 11 PM curfew for OSL would really suck if it made him have a short set.

It's a 10 pm curfew not 11 pm but I'll say this again. If they gave Phish a 3 hour set then they will give McCartney a 3 hour set. No need for anyone to be worried.

I'm still worried. Phish is a "jam" band, McCartney is not. They better give him a double set considering they spent all their money on him.

Phish got a double-set because they're a jam band. OSL simply dropped the ball on Furthur & DMB, the two other jam band headliners that also play two sets every night. Him being McCartney, though, I'm guessing they'll give him 2.5 hours of stage-time, whether in two short sets or one long set.

He got a 2.5 hour set at Coachella, I'd hope he gets at least the same here.

I don't understand the logic of "because they are a jam band they should get longer a set" Obviously they jam but I don't see why that as a soul reason why they should get a longer set then any other headliner. I feel if the headliner deserves the longer set then they should get it genre of music aside and Paul most certainly deserves it, perhaps more then any other headliner out there.

Also Furthur did play a 2.5 hour set. Well they were scheduled at least, but I remember watching over an hour of them before I went to The Strokes and I know they finished after The Strokes ended. DMB if I remember got a 2 hour set. I've seen DMB a few times now and they usually play around 2.5 so while it was indeed shorter it wasn't like they got completely shafted.

Predictions, wish list, whatever. It's all the same unless you have inside info. There's no way to predict this sort of thing. I'm sorry I pissed you off by labeling it as a wish list.

I chose 4 bands that I want to be there that haven't played OSL in the last several years (or ever) that are all free on the dates of OSL. Unless you have insider info fuck off.
