Aren't they expanding the capacity for this festival? Sounds like Sir Paul would help this situation...

Yes it was but with the new contract they signed it called for an additional 10,000 tickets. Not sure if that means per day or total for the weekend.

In the past, a "3-day pass" has been a single paper ticket you bring in each day. There has always been the opportunity to trade for just the days you want to attend.

Yeah, just saw this. That should rule them out of being possible headliners.

isn't the Greek fairly small? 3 nights does not seem like a stretch for these guys at all, especially considering they did 2 nights at Barclays.

    11/21 - Pearl Jam - Viejas Arena

Why is it crazy. They sold out 2 nights at The Hollywood Bowl last year and thats 35,000 tickets. Every arena show on their current tour is sold out. Plus their mini festivals which are supposed to be easily teice as many people than the arena shows are sold out. This is A LOT less than that and will sell out in 5 min. Whens the last time they played in the bay area proper? 2 years and change? They could do a stadium tour at this point and sell em out.

They can sell out 3 nights at the Greek no question. Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver sold it out last year, if I remember correclty. How many people does it hold, 10,000? 12,000?

10k-12k sounds about right. Mumford will have no problems selling out all three nights but IIRC three nights stints at the Greek are uncommon. I may be missing some but usually jam band types like Phish and Dave Matthews will have three nights. I remember back around 2003 Ben Harper and Jack Johnson sold out three consecutive shows.

The Greek only holds 8500, so three nights is like selling out one large arena or amphitheater show (a very large one, but still, fathomable for a band like Mumford and Sons).
