There's never too much overlap for Coachella and OSL subbers, but I'm really hoping to see Modest Mouse, Vampire Weekend, and Grizzly Bear at OSL '13.

Yes to all the above. But if nothing else, I'd kill to see Grizzly Bear at Twin Peaks. Also... I'd kill for APE to have video screens on the Sutro and Twin Peaks stage.

Sutro definitely needs screens. The crowds for Alabama Shakes and Of Monster & Men backed all the way up to Beer Lands. Same with Bloc Party's set at Twin Peaks, I couldn't see shit.

Alabama shakes crowd was insanely big! I was lucky to squeeze up about 50 feet from the front to see them play

I thought that too, OSL has managed to pull some great headliner/subs in the past two years so it wouldn't surprise me.

Crystal Castles
Deftones


I'd really like to see M83 in Sigur Ros' Twin Peaks closer spot this year too, they've been due.

Anonymous source, 8 months old now, yada yada yada, but this could be interesting. If it is going to happen we should be hearing news about it soon. Could they try to do a Reading and Leeds or Summer Sonic like thing where they shuttle bands back and forth between the two locations?

I haven't been to OL in a couple of years. Do they still make them wrap up by 10 pm? It was the only thing I didn't like about the festival.

Yes, there is, and will likely always be, a 10pm curfew.

I personally enjoy the early curfew. It allows me to see all of my sf friends as well as go to many of the fun spots throughout the city. You just have to make sure you have a good exit strategy.

The curfew is fine, I'm usually pretty spent by the time I get through those closers.

Like others have said, there are things to do in the city. Last year, OSL was running more intimate shows at the area's nearby venues, but I think most nights we ended up just getting back to the hotel after and falling asleep, waking up, and starting all over again. haha
