All I can say is that, at Coachella, Godspeed far outshined Radiohead on the same day (weekend 2, which sounds like a much better Radiohead set by all accounts,) and Godspeed weren't in my top 10 shows of the year. And a large part of it is because the new material is boring.

That Radiohead show weekend one was the biggest disappointment of any of the last three Coachellas I've attended. But, I've also heard everyone that went to the Phoenix show say the same thing Matt did.

Stop putting bands on a pedestal and you won't be so disappointed

I hardly ever come away disappointed in any show, but Coachella was not too long after their Phoenix show and I wad unable to attend that. It received so much hype that I kind of set myself up for a let down with their Coachella performance.

Yeah, I saw them bring their A game this year, just not while you were present. Dallas, Phoenix, Chicago to name some.

I think if you saw them perform to their full potential, you would not want to see another show afterwards if you thought the W1 performance was ''good.''

I feel that I should probably fit the Metz set into my top 10 for the year. Same with feedtime. Both are shows that I can't stop thinking about and that made me incredibly happy at the time. IF that doesn't make the top 10, I don't know what does.

Yes. The Jobing.com show made me wonder why I'd ever questioned their new material. The Coachella set reminded me why.

Whats with singling out artists at a music festival? Just count the festival as one and talk about standout performances under it.

Coachella as a whole wouldn't be a highlight for me this year for a variety of reasons. FYF wouldn't have made the top ten, but certain sets from there were excellent. An opener's set at a show may be more fantastic than the headliner; if so, they would wind up on the list. Do as you will, since you don't seem to care even when constructive criticism is offered, but most of us prefer this way.

Because a lot of us are talking about specific sets, not events. I'm not going to compare a 3-day or even 1-day festival against a performance of a single band. An entirely different list though might include ranking festivals or festival days and entire concerts with really good bills of 2-5 bands.

I went weekend 2, where I had to choose between shade and acts that I'd enjoy or blistering sun and heat to see some that I may have preferred. And the crowds at Coachella since 2009 have been veering away from the crazy music fans who would always engage in talk about obscure bands towards fist-pumping shirtless dudes and teenage girls.

Plus, weekend 2 was a consolation prize since I had a competition during weekend one, when pretty much everyone else I know went. It's not the same going to Coachella when I don't get to have a beer with Tom.

Perhaps you should get out of the Sahara and explore other areas.
