Just discovering this absolute fucking timeless gem of an album (The Princess Part Two - one of if not best albums of the year in my opinion, unbelievably good from start to finish) and trusting GV's spot-on track record for snatching up and showcasing up and comers, we can only expect the unadulterated, ultra original, raw talent oozing out of the 'swingtronic' pores of Parov Stelar to pop up on the Polo Fields next year and proceed to blissfully obliterate whatever tent and crowd they happen to grace! Most eagerly anticipated set of any prospective artist this year for me! Seeing them in 3 weeks and will report back ;-)

Check out their latest and greatest album ASAP! If you don't know, now you know, n*&$@!

P.S. I just officially coined the term swingtronic, just saying, more history in the making :-)

I've seen video of Parov Stellar live and he incorporates a live sax player during his set, its that swing style is kinda his thing. I love his music but wasn't really digging the live instrument thing, at least in that type of way.

That being said, I would love to catch him.

He had both live sax and trumpet players, as part of the 'Parov Stelar Trio'. This is what i expect him to bring to the Polo Fields in April :-)
