EDIT: Seriously. What is Sasquatch thinking putting Vampire Weekend on the Bigfoot. VW had, quite possibly, the biggest crowd of the weekend in 2010. It was just massive. That is going to be an absolute clusterfuck.

I have no idea what they were thinking with that one. Mackelmore and VW probably have a massive overlap in fanbase that will all be super pissed off by this.

Grimes on the bigfoot for an hour while the mainstage is empty also ensures a massive crowd for her set.

Other than that it seems pretty good to me. I love the hour hole between Elvis Costello and Mumford so he can run long if it wants to.

Not able to get to Coachella this year but I'm in the boat for Sasquatch. Definitely a weird feeling not being on the Coachella grounds and checking out the live webcasts instead.
With that being said, I'm excited to check out this festival! I found way more solid undercards than I do for a Coachella lineup.

Yeah, the VW downgrade makes no sense. They had a huge crowd at Coachella in the early evening in a sandstorm. I can't see how they wound up on Bigfoot, even as a stage headliner.

In general, it looks like they have a lot of acts starting simultaneously; will make band browsing a bit more of a challenge.

When you see the giant crowd for them, you see it wasn't a poor fit. Oh, and lotsa white people like Mumford, just like the are big fans of macklemore.

Mumford is headlining Glastonbury, which is a festival about 5x the size of Sasquatch. They sold out a 25000 person venue in Vancouver in seconds, there is no question they are the most popular band of the lineup.

I'm tempted to just book plane tickets to Seattle in case I can snag cheap craigslist tickets..I have family and friends up there, so it wouldn't be a total waste to just hang in the city.

Davers-I think we have met at sasquatch a few times-we always have the pink !!! flag..think you stopped by our campsite in a sailor outfit last year, I could be wrong though..

I'm thinking about driving up that weekend and seeing if I can get a ticket for relatively close to face value + service fees. What do you think the possibilities are? Worse case scenario I just go to Seattle and hang out for a day or 2.

There are tons of tickets around the Portland area. Also look scoop on the Eugene/Corvallis crowd of kids that bought tickets but cant get there/have to stay for school/changed plans.

I've been browsing Portland Eugene/Corvallis craigslist. Scalped tickets are still a bit high. If anyone in the Portland area comes across 2 extra tickets for $350-400 I'd appreciate the heads up.

So just picked 2 wristbands up in Portland for 350 each and purchased plane tickets-so much for taking a year off!

Wow, Coachella certainly is screwing over everyone going to Sasquatch with their tickets going on sale this Friday. Don't they realize that tons of people go to both festivals?
