    Moving on...

Even so the whole Coachella/camping experience is a lot of fun regardless how many GREAT bands are playing.

Here at Consequence of Sound, we cover the same news stories and bands as Pitchfork but also pretend to be into the Foo Fighters so that we can appear to have a unique voice in the blogosphere.

Agreed. I was surprised this list didn't include Frank Ocean or Grizzly Bear as well. Guess he needed to make room for two Death Grips albums in his top 20.

I bet xanman has a poster of himself on his wall. But in his case, he's probably meeting a celebrity.

True. I guess my point is more that all the other 9 titles were your typical indie fare from this year and that one is the odd-man out.

I adore Chromatics, but there's no way that album in its released state deserves to be so high on so many lists. If I could include my personal edit of it, it'd be top 20 material for sure, but we're judging albums based on how they exist, not how we wish they existed.

Aside from this being a mostly atrocious list, at least someone got the number one album of 2012 right.

Also, it bothers me that "Thinkin' Bout You" by Frank Ocean keeps popping up on 2012 lists. That was in my top 5 songs of 2011.

It bothers me because it's one of the weakest songs on Channel Orange and a good reason why I didn't give the full album a chance earlier on in the year.
