my guess is Paul McCartney....
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
It seems like no one ever gets The Roo clues right.
I like the Prodigy(Fat of the Land album cover) guesses for the crabs.
So clue #1 was a haiku? I was wondering if it was lyrics given the Thesaurus treatment.
As some of you might know, I was emailing managers/agents to try find out who's playing Roo and Sasquatch. I have a good reputation over on inforoo so hopefully you'll believe the names I'm giving here. Bands I've personally confirmed:
Atlas Genius
Passion Pit
The xx
Pretty Lights
Cat Power
Purity Ring
In regards to Janelle Monae:
"i cannot guarantee it, but my bet would be on bonnaroo."
In regards to Polyphonic Spree:
"we are working on....if i was a betting man i would lean toward bonnaroo...nothing confirmed yet though...."
The weather was great in 2012. Come to Roo this year if you can make it!
I must have looked as if I were a diseased creature. Covered in cigarette cartons like bird shit, smeary colored face, drinking wine out of a pair of sweat pants. A dead baby hung off the side of my head -- crying to get high on smokes and glue.

Did Janelle Monae get blacklisted from Coachella or something?
have tickets for this concert really sold out already?
Paul McCartney was basically confirmed on Inforoo today.
A lot of regular, reliable posters with a lot of reliable sources. I know when to trust a rumor over there and when not to (I've been posting there for almost 3 years), and this definitely seems legit.
They didnt just confirm him by what the European festival promoter said? That they tried to book Macca but he was already scheduled for a music festival in the USA the weekend of June 13-16......
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
Well, that's not exactly what the European promoter said. There was obviously a lot of speculation about this article, but there is a longtime poster over there who's fluent in Dutch and that guy's quote translated to "Paul seems to prefer American festivals," not that he was already booked/scheduled for a US festival. Slight difference but noteworthy.
Anyway, that got the speculation rolling on McCartney, but since then there's been more and more evidence piling up that Macca's playing Bonnaroo.
MMJ will be back
