That dance was way to perfect for him to be under any influence right? Either way that was actually a really beautiful dance.

Looks empty only behind the sound stage. The lawn is big enough to accomodate a ton of people that aren't stuck staring at the sound tent thing.

i've never seen the field that empty for a pre-headliner.

supposedly the JJ crowd was tiny.

    and he played mumford covers.

the rolling stone write-up is both cringeworthy and hilarious.

The pit line for JJ was much larger than the one for Bjork.

right, he's more famous. what i'm saying is that, generally the field doesn't empty out after th pre-headliner. it gets more and more packed. obviously the lumineers had something to do with that, but i've never seen the field that empty an hour before a headliner.

The National had a small crowd. I walked up to the fifth row about 10 minutes before they started and I had an easy way getting out early to see Byrne and Vincent.

Where else is there to go during his set? I think only half of a Preservation Jazz set and maybe an EDM tent overlapped.

Practically no fucking BLEED OVER Coachella. JJ set was as expected and really ok. He acted humble and all of that. He said"What would you do if you got a phone call and was asked if you would play the main stage of a major festival in two days" He messed up on one song and said "I fucked that up. Sorry. We practiced for only two hours." and laughed Dedicated the set to MM and Sons and 2nd last song was MM's big song whatever it's called ... cr****

This was my 5th Roo and the best one yet by far. Decided to delay our caravan departure time and stop for Jack's babecue in Nashville which resulted in the best camping location I've ever had there. Had a 7 minute walk to the small gate of centeroo and camped right behind the Other stage along the fence and woods with no cars on my right hand side. Got some crystal clrar video footage of performances too. Drank a ton of No.9 shroomed hard for Swans and smoked myself silly all wknd.

I had a fantastic time but if I could only attend one festival it's Coachella. Roo had a great lineup this, but that's an every year thing for Coachella.

being my third Roo, I second this. Our groop spot was only a minute or two from where you were camped and the walk was a breeze.

Not to mention swans taking me through hyperspace.

This was my first Bonnaroo. Been to Coachella a few years in a row, but thought I would try to head out to 'Roo this year as well.

I have to say the most disappointing this all weekend was the shitty sound. I was with an experienced group and they all said the sound was worse this year. I remember standing directly under the Other Tent sign for Wierld Al anmd straining to try and hear him. Same thing with Matt & Kim. At the main stage on Friday/Saturday the sound kept blasting high to low during performances (specifically remember this during Passion Pit). So with how crowded it was for shows like The Lumineers, it was terrible in the back for sound.

Overall, I definitely prefer Coachella, but enjoyed 'Roo. Considering going again next year, but definitely getting groop camping or an RV so we can get a good spot. The 25-30 minute walk, despite getting there by 7pm Wednesay night for camping was ridiculous. Plus, the space was TINY despite having 4 cars for 9 people.

the sound in the other tent was being run by an extremely old man. no joke.

and the which stage is always quiet, especially if you're behind those tree.

I think around early Feb. I'm on my phone or I would dig deeper for an answer. It won't sell out right away so take your time if you're on any budget.
