    Default Roger Waters The Wall

He just added 5 dates in Europe for next summer. With two weekends and plenty of time to build up his giant fucking stage twice, I would love to see this happen. Where there is a will there is a way. In fact someone tell Gilmour to come hang out and let them know they can donate their entire paycheck to charity if they want.

    Bring it!

Anyone else find this to be a very peculiar stylistic fit with the album's subject matter? What about the mandatory intermission? Plus the "wall" would stretch from the VIP past the beer tent. Will they incorporate the palm trees and ferris wheel into the production?

In reality, Roger announced the Quebec show as the final north American appearance. If they GV wanted this show in 2012 or 2013 that would not have announced. Bring the full stage show for a single venue would be super prohibitively expensive and need other stateside shows. Then the issue of keeping his flat stage there for Stagecoach.

he has different sized walls. the one he used in yankee stadium was substantially bigger than the one he did inside of most of the arenas he played. i saw him in houston and as far as length goes the stage was no bigger than the main stage at coachella.

Even though I've seen the wall twice of course I would love to have this at Coachella.

Furthermore, Waters is playing this which I'm sure a lot of you know already:

I wonder what he's going to play at MSG, obviously he's not bringing the whole Wall out.

The issue is that for the arena shows is that it took most of the day to construct the stage. It seems it would require the Main Stage to be shut down to allow them to set-up. Obviously they could downscale and rework that to make it fit, but it would be a substantially altered show.

This is where Randy should come in and try to get some of you excited with the Pink Floyd rumor he heard.

The Wall set may be too epic to bring to Coachella, but someone who used to buy vinyls told me, "Its possible he (Waters) will perform a complete acoustic set for the wall and make that his final farewell tour. Intimate stadiums filled with the graceful plucks of guitar and Roger's soft voice."

If you want verification, he's in front of Whole Foods off 3rd/Fairfax trying to get people to donate to Planned Parenthood

I saw The Wall production in Vegas a couple of years ago, it seems way too massive for Coachella. I also agree with Bumblebee, the show is fucking mindblowing, it really does deserve to be a completely isolated experience.

I have seen The Wall twice over the last two years and I loved both shows. Having said that I agree that this show wouldn't work very well at a festival.

You're on. Now how do we prove whether or not my speculation is genuine or not since all I did was ask for it in the WISH LIST section of all places. I DIDN'T SAY IT WAS FUCKING HAPPENING YOU ILLITERATE DOUCHE!

I'll be waiting over here for my frozen lemonade.

Whoever mentioned intermission. Roger Waters played Coachella in 2008, he had an intermission.

Roger Chella, Phish Roo 2012, Dead 2004 Roo, MMJ 2008 Roo and Phish O-Lands had intermissions. Where they the only act playing at the time?

Bob Seger Orlando Calling 2011, Phish 2009 Roo(both nights), Widespread Panic Roo, MMJ 2011 Roo, Springsteen Roo and McCartney Chella only had the encore break(s).

Pretty sure all his 2006-2012 had intermission with the sole exception of OC.

Saw the Floyd in Berlin in '94 on the division bell tour - well pleased
Hoped there would be some sort of reunion around the millennium - not well pleased
    Live 8 - well pleased
Rick died - not well pleased
Two tickets today for Roger, 'The Wall - Live' at Wembley next September - well pleased
