Then we would have both the "indie" headliner and danish headliner in the first announcement and I don't think that it is the case but both bands will surely perform at the Orange stage.

I think he was referring to Volbeat as the Danish headliner. Sigur Ros would be the indie headliner.

Volbeat is the biggest danish band internationally since Aqua if you look at record sales. And they have been performing at Roskilde approximately every 3rd year, so with 4 years since the last time its about time again.

Normally Roskilde don´t share big international bands or artist with the other danish festival so with Northside revealing Band Of Horses, Arctic Monkeys and Flaming Lips I´m guessing that we can rule them out.

The other names was the danish artist Trentemøller and the also danish band Nephew

Smukfest Luckily announced Avicii last week so he is also out :-)

Anyone from the boards going? and looking for someone to camp with? I may go, but solo, so I would like to have some people to camp with if I end up at this festival.

    Mallcore is still popular?

Slipknot played in 2009, but the rest of the lineup was rather baller

I've been wanting to see other countries, so this plus several days in Amsterdam is an option on my list of possibility for 2013, which is getting insanely long. Was hoping Pulp would appear since they haven't played since 1998, but that's not happening with the reunion ending.

I was considering it, but can't go now due to my other vacation plans. You should check out Roskilde's message board. It's much smaller than Coachella's, but people are really friendly, and in the year we went, some of the camps were welcoming to solo campers. There were also some threads making an effort to organize people into adjacent spots for those doing the Get a Tent program (where you pre-book a spot).

I think I payed 2400 DKK, regular ticket was around 1800 DDK.

Besides the tent you will also get an extra wristband that gives you free mobile recharge (normally 10 DKK) and free hot showers (normally 25 DKK) for all 8 days.
Another added bonus is that the grass is actually green the last day so mud if it rains.

There are free showers at the regular camping but they are not with hot water.

Slipknot has been around so long now that is ok to like them again, metalheads are stupid that way. Their album Iowa was certified Platinum or Gold in 5 countries, so it is probably them. Shushov I think Salah is trying to go this year, I may make it out depending on lineup and other things.

It was Slipknot, not my kind of music but I was having a blast in 2010 so if nothing else is on at the same time I will probably drop by the Orange Stage.

Rock Werchter in Belgium (the same week as Roskilde) has already revealed the first main stage names, Editors, Rammstein, Depeche Mode, Blur, Green Day, Kings Of Leon and Volbeat.

I´m hoping for Blur, Editors and Rammstein at Roskilde.

They could be at Roskilde on the 4th because they are in G´dansk, Poland on the 3rd and Rock Werchter in Belgium on the 5th and a trip to Denmark is just a little detour when travelling from Poland to Belgium.

They could also perform on the 6th or 7th after Werchter.

But the only thing working against it is that they headlined Smukfest in Denmark last year and then it would look like that Roskilde is copy cating their little brother.
