On future lineup additions: (Scott) “We’ll have a handful of others, including a pretty good-sized artist that we’ll be announcing in the coming weeks. But we’ve condensed the stages—we’ll have four stages, and they’ll all alternate back and forth, so you’ll have no more than two artists on at the same time. That allows the audience to see more of the acts, and gives the artists more of a captive audience. And rather than having a local stage, we’re gonna put the local artists on the stages with the national artists. We’re trying to mix those artists in, which we find to be more effective in terms of getting an audience to see those guys, allowing people traveling in to discover the Las Vegas artists.
    The possibilities...

Thats awesome. Eager to see this years set up and who else they will add. Smart of them to have it 2 at a time, cuts conflicts and rushing.

Anyone satyed at the Golden Gate or the California hotel? And if so, what was your experience? Would you recommend somewhere else? Price range is 100-150 a night.

What's the consensus on the possibility of single day tix? Whoever manages their FB page gave a vague response to someone - "not right now" or something

If they do the same thing as Outside Lands (which is run by the same people APE), they will wait until about two months before the event to do the single day tickets. They are trying to sell as many passes as they can before having to do singles.

I stayed at the California like 10 years ago when I was about 15. I remember it being alright, wasn't run down or anything but wasn't anything to brag about either. I do remember it being full of old Asian people though.

Just curious, when they say they'll have four stages, with artists alternating, does that mean that they'll have a band on Stage A and Stage C playing at the same exact time (like 3-4), then have Stage B and Stage D have someone also at the same EXACT time (like 4-5)?

My wife bought me plane tickets for this over the weekend for my birthday. Any of you locals or people in the know have any idea of single day passes for this fest? From what I have read, the tickets are going to be wristbands so that doesn't make it possible for single day tickets, unless I'm reading too much into it.

Also, one of the posts in here was quoting a promoter saying there was going to be another decent sized name as an addition. Any more info on that?

October is going to be a glorious month. See you guys there!

I've been to lots of fests that have single day wristbands, so I don't think that will be be a reason to stop them from having day passes.

I'd guess there will be some indication one way or the other once they release the day to day lineups.

No and the demographic is different this year so it's kinda like a new festival. Could go either way. I would say them selling single day tickets means it probably won't sell out though

Looks like single day passes are $105 each according to Ticketmaster. Saturday looks really good. Kinda on the fence for the other two days but since I'll be in Vegas will probably end up going one of those days anyways.

I got a feeling Sunday tickets are going to be had for cheap on Stubhub on the day of.

The line-up looks awful broken out by day. Kanye is the only artist on Friday that I'm familiar with. What's with this Lionel Richie booking? Hopefully we're not forced to watch him before Outkast.

Holy Ghost! is fantastic. I don't know what you are into, but you will either find this as an amazing party, or you will hate everyone and everything to do with it: Girl Talk. P.S. Thanks for taking the sarcastic post with class.
