It looks like The Black Keys and Lorde are out based on their tour dates.

I'm really hoping for Arcade Fire, Jack White, the Strokes, Outkast, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Black Lips, the Kills and Cloud Nothings.

Last year had lots of hip hop - Jurassic 5, Danny Brown, Childish Gamblino and Earl Sweatshirt. Outkast is supposed to do something like 40 festival stops and I think they've only announced thirty something so far.

That would be ironic considering the festival name is Life is Beautiful

Arcade Fire - touring new album and they haven't played Vegas since the Suburbs tour.
Jack White - touring new album and he's never played Vegas as JW.
the Strokes - they've announced two festival dates (NY and LA).
Outkast - hitting the festival circuit all summer. Something like 40 festivals.
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - touring new album and hasn't played Vegas for 20 some odd years. I'm not sure if this fest is cool enough to book him, but it is possible.
Black Lips - touring new album and don't know if they've ever played Vegas.
the Kills - don't know if they've ever played Vegas, but they have some festival dates this summer.
Cloud Nothings - touring the new album and don't think they've played Vegas.

I'm guessing the line up will drop sometime this week with tickets going on sale either Friday or next Friday.

You think its all about not ever playing Vegas? And most of this lit has played in Vegas, youre just too lazy to look up shit theyve done in the past.

I don't need to look up who's played Vegas. I'm born and raised in Las Vegas and I've lived here for 34 years. Not a single band on my list has played Vegas on the heels of their latest release. It's not only about who's played Vegas, but also about who is touring and who fits with the billing. Last year Kings of Leon and the Killers headlined with Beck and Vampire Weekend subbing. My predictions are very probable. You stupid fuck!

I was at the last Arcade Fire show at the Joint. Their doing an extensive Reflektor tour and they haven't announced a Vegas date. They would be a great booking to keep this festival moving in the right direction.

I attended the last 3 shows Jack White played in Vegas (Dead Weather at the Pearl, The Raconteurs at Vegoose and at the old Joint). He didn't play Vegas on his last stint and hasn't announced a Vegas show for his new tour.

I attended the Strokes show at the Chelsea Ballroom. Which was fucking amazing BTW.

I was at the last Outkast show at the House of Blues over ten years ago.

I was at Lollapolloza 94 when Nick Cave played, he certainly hasn't been here recently.

The Black Lips, the Kills and Cloud Nothings might have played at the Beuaty Bar to a crowd of less than 500, but definitely not on their last tour.

if you actually know something, how about you stop acting like an 8-year old girl and just keep your "secrets" to yourself. It's not cute.

line up was released on the 4th of June last year I think, festival tickets usually go on sale on Fridays shortly after the lineup is released.

oh, nice. I didnt pay attention to when the line up came out last year. Didnt even know there was a festival until my friend talked me into it. for the price is was worth the impulse buy.

Yeah I did the same thing. My sister told me about it cuz she lives in Vegas. One of the most fun festivals I've attended.

Im seriously considering this thing after seeing some of your glowing reviews. Did they sell single day tickets last year? I saw that tickets started at 100 last year but I'm assuming that was for both days. Im not sure if I want to commit to a three day festival in Vegas when there are so many other fun things to do.

I think it came to like $120 after fees or something. I baught mine pretty late though last year, so i didnt get the early bird tickets. It is a really fun and "new" i guess you can say. The whole Freemont street setting is just awesome i think. A lot of freedom to for entering and exiting the festival. the food, beer, wine, art and layout were all awesome, on top of a pretty sweet line up. I dont know if they didnt single day tickets, it was so damn cheap as it was. i suggest doing a day or two if they do have single days, good fun.

I bought a single day ticket the day of last year. Also, I'm pretty sure that you can gamble inside a few of the casinos during the festival(maybe the El Cortez?) But, the lineup will have to be really good in order for me to go again.

Yeah, the line up and price for tickets are what i am worried about. last year was good for the money. I remember gambling in the casino and watching the Football game for my fantasy football game, pretty fun.

um, yes, DTLV has gambling during LIB. I lost my November rent at the slots at El Cortez after KOL on Saturday.

It's a great venue! Very friendly staff, great food, fun bowling, etc.

The sound and venue itself are very good too.

They even let us bowl for free because it was early and nobody had shown up yet and the last show of the night was so empty they refunded our money and let us stay for free.

They are just way too nice.

So for a show like Cut Copy, is it a good place to let loose and dance?

Considering how much they are touring and that they are going to Europe after Outside Lands, I'd say that they will probably be back home in Australia relaxing by October.
