I'm sure there's fans that'll love the new stuff but can see a 2010 MGMT moment of ppl walking away crying b/c they didn't hear the songs they wanted.

He's also pretty notorious for not releasing albums just for the sake of a tour and not touring every album. Which is exactly what he is going to do this time.

In the interview with Visconti, he revealed that he blatantly lied about working on a new Bowie album for the sake of secrecy. He could be doing the same thing in saying Bowie wont be doing live shows.

Bowie was #1 on my wishlist followed my Prince but at the time I thought Bowie was a long shot. Now with the release of the single and the announcement of a new album in March, I think its a strong possibility. If not at Coachella then Bonnaroo
