On the northern side of Bishop, right off 395 as you're leaving town. They're the red, barn-like building with the blue sign on the right hand side of the road. Meadow Farms Mahogany Smoked Meats. They have a great deli as well that does huge sandwiches. Highly recommended stop next time you head up this way.

I will definitely make it one of my stops. We usually stop at Schatz on the way out, but I may have to make them adjust the route this time. Warm beef jerky out of your pockets is heavenly on a chair lift. . I'll be up there 2/19-23 if you want to meet up to go ride the mountain.

Yeah, we don't ever do Schat's for two reasons. One, the owner is a gigantic asshole. Two, there's a better bakery in town called Great Basin Bakery right at the southern edge.
