Love his art.
Me too. He is one of my favorites. Which is why I'm so bummed that I forgot to give it to Logan. I just found it while I was packing other gifts. So . . . Wayne, my friend's dad, gets to benefit. I also bought a beautiful candle by Keith which Wayne and his boyfriend will get to enjoy too.
Again . . . sorry Logan.

Shit. I'll buy you beers to make up for the extra postage. I'll go by tomorrow.
Don't worry, Crispin! Everything arrived safe and sound. I had a really busy weekend celebrating the holidays since today I'm leaving for Arizona to see family but I did receive my gift and even got to eat some of it yesterday! Thanks so much. I went onto their website and read all about them too - excellent choices! Happy holidays!

Yeah, he cut the cheese. And it tasted good.
I sent mine out on 12/14, today is the 24th, i really hope he gets it today. Haven't seen him post in here in a while, so hopefully he has it and just hasn't posted.
I'm going to crack open the stout and the cheese curd in a moment. I'll get back to you all regarding the flavor combination. Izzy already stole my starburst and nutella. I LOVE the pens. The Reader is definitely an interesting read. You guys really rage in Wisconsin.
Thank you Creepy for giving me the world. I love it all!![]()
I just got the card. I wish you were here so I could give you a big hug.
Thanks for the Box O' Nuts Jeremy. Quite a suprise when I opened the box and saw 7 different kinds of Cashews mixed up in here. They are all delicious. I just haven't tried the cashew brittle yet. I'm saving that for home. I'll post pics later when I upload them. Also, Thanks for the hand written letter. It means so much these days in the world of IM's and texts to recieve a nice hand written note.

You know, but that's valid because if we are all gonna die anyway shouldn't we be enjoying ourselves now? You know, I'd like to quit thinking of the present, like right now, as some minor insignificant preamble to something else.

It's that tad bit of Crazy that keeps me Sane...
I got back from the Cruise yesterday and when I got home there was a package with a book titled "Let me tell you about BEER: A beginner's guide to all things brewed" by Melissa Cole.I'm pretty excited to refresh my memory on a lot of things I have forgotten over the years.Thank Secret Santa
NNNNOOOOOOOOO
I was wondering why you said that I left something out of the photo... haha oh well, hopefully your friend's gay dad gets to use them well.
My computer's battery and charge cable quit on me and I've been too lazy to use my phone, so here is the photo of Gunz's gift:
ALSO: I shipped my gift last week through UPS, and they said it should arrive around January 2nd. Sorry about the delay. Shit's been crazy.
Thank you, Secret Santa, for the kick-ass Lester Bangs t-shirt!
We just got back to Brooklyn after a few days upstate and there it was. I immediately put it on, threw on my bathrobe and dug in for a one-millionth journey through the first collection of the works of my favorite music journalist. I'm not nearly clever enough to take a picture where you can actually see much of the t-shirt, but I plan to bring it with me to Coachella in April.
(I don't yet know who my Secret Santa was, but they're pretty goddamn rad for hooking this up)
Thank you Secret Santa (onlynonstranger) for the Neil Young "Waging Heavy Peace" book!! I received it over a week ago but waited until Christmas to open it.It's funny, I actually gifted the same book to a friend this year.
It is sincerely appreciated, and is a perfect gift for me as I like to read and I like Neil Young! I can't wait to read it!![]()
Holy cow, I was just putting the box into the recycler and you paid $54 in postage, creepy?!?!! I owe you lots of beers.![]()

OMG, he/we would love that. You are too sweet.
For you guys who know: how accurate was Cameron Crowe/Philip Seymour Hoffman's Lester Bangs in Almost Famous?
I read somewhere that Dare! was the record Bangs was playing at the time of his death. I always thought that was oddly cool, a weird, almost cinematic signpost of the life and times.
