Though I think I would enjoy a Portishead T-shirt. i almost feel like I need one now that I think about it.

5) What movies do you like? I believe Interview with the Vampire is probably my favorite movie, which I own. But, like most cases, I've heard that book is better. That I don't own. And is probably expensive. I will try to think of one some shortly.

6) What eating establishments do you like? L&L Hawaiian Barbeque and In-N-Out.

7) What kinds of candy/snack foods do you like? I don't eat this very often, but Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are awesome. Also Payday.

8) What sorts of activities do you engage in? Mountain biking/Hiking (when I'm able to) RC. I enjoy beer. Does that count?

9) What are your sports teams? Not so much the sports fan, but I would support the San Diego Chargers (the wife) or the Oakland Athletics (fav childhood team).

I should say Japandroids or something, but honestly, I would kill for a old school-looking Van Halen or Def Leppard t-shirt.

Almost all of my favorite films are '60s European art house classics, or '70s New Hollywood films. Bergman is my favorite filmmaker. Godfather and Godfather, Part II (with a slight preference for Part II), are probably my favorites movies. I like all of the contemporary stuff most people would probably expect (P.T. Anderson, Wong, Charlie Kaufman, Sofia Coppola, etc.).

I'm a Blu-ray person and I am always looking to add to my Criterions. I haven't bought many 2012 Criterions.

6) What eating establishments do you like?

Mostly local restaurants, but I'm a total sucker for pizza and carb-heavy comfort food (I'm always dragging O-Bob and the kid to Mimi's Cafe, for example). Any place that serves pancakes, I like that. Also, Starbucks.

Dark chocolate, ice cream, cookies.

Music, film, politics, and reading/debating about each of the foregoing. Literature, when I have the time. Dining and wine. Hiking. Visiting National Parks. Drinking.

New York Yankees, Notre Dame football. I get enough grief for those two that I don't really need to pick any more up. Also, the Utah Jazz when they are relevant/playing.

It is really good. I would make a recommendation, but honestly everything is good. (and just an FYI, they put tobacco in their ketchup, so if you don't like it spicy bring your own. We learned that when Izzy, a big ketchup fan, looked at us with watery eyes and said that something was wrong with the ketchup. It's not that spicy, but she was not prepared.)

I would arrange to meet up with you Drew, but I'll be in SLO that weekend.

2) T-shirt size: XL, but I only really wear crewneck t-shirts at the gym or when I'm sleeping in a hotel room with friends. I prefer scoop or v-neck.

3) Favorite animal: You probably shouldn't get me anything with an animal on it. Unless it's fucking awesome and Hannahrain-approved. However, you can get me any/everything with Ira Glass on it.

4) Bands: Sonic Youth, Yo La Tengo; anything that Bmack says I should listen to.

Last year for the gift exchange, I received a big box of assorted teas and coffee and it was the best thing ever. Also this is less in the snack and more in the cooking category, but I'm very interested in niche/artisanal varieties of vanilla, olive oil, honey, and flake salt. 8) Activities: Grad school work. Cooking with my CSA box. Reading The Economist, The Atlantic, Harpers, the WSJ, and the Sunday NYT. Going to art museums and the symphony and theatre. SLEEPING.

9) Sports: I'm not really into sports but I will cheer for my school's sports teams.

10) Other Stuff: I'm really into fountain pens and fountain pen ink right now. And any office supplies and paper goods produced by the brands Field Notes, Russell+Hazel, Rifle Paper Co, and Rhodia. I love Mrs. Meyers brand cleaning products. I love letterpress stationery. I need more socks because it's freaking cold in Seattle, and I'm especially fond of all things striped, argyle and polka-dotted. If you can find me a case for my Samsung Galaxy S2 phone that isn't ugly as all hell, I would be pleasantly surprised because I'm not sure that exists. I'm also on the lookout for one of those keychains with the really long leather straps because I'm always losing my keys in the bottom of my bookbag and I think that would help. I am obsessed with Burt's Bees lip balm. If you know about any of the following music genres and would like to make me a mix, that would be pretty badass: soul, afrobeat, disco, glam rock, krautrock, no wave or slowcore. I would also be really excited to receive something local/special that's only made in your city and that I can't get here.
