A friend got an email this morning from Souncloud that listed Daft Punk for Coachella. I went to the Soundcloud site and searched for "Daft Punk Coachella," Coachella 2013 comes up, although when you click on the link they aren't in the list of bands. Just to test out their search, I did one for an act that has never played Coachella in the past and no results come up, then I tested "Tool Coachella" and only their past appearances show up. My thinking is that the lineup is set up in their search engine but don't yet show up in the search results themselves.
Nothing new, but the Tron director mentioned their new album:
Also cool that there are a bunch of tracks that didn't make it into the last Tron movie:I know they have another album coming out, Iím sure thatís going to be their next big project, which I assume is going to be followed by a massive tour.
http://collider.com/tron-3-tron-lega...sinski/217942/Remember, there are a lot of tracks that they created that I still have that I wasnít able to fit into TRON: Legacy. So weíve already got a head start on some great tracks for the future, which Iím really excited about.
Why don't people realize that anyone can contribute to Songkick?
Austra - Colin Stetson - Skyline Electric - The Pacific Rim Projekt - The National - Goat Rodeo - Hopscotch 2013- Body/Head - GY!BE - Beirut/Vampire Weekend - Tim Hecker
can somebody summarize the last 20 pages for me
Agreed. The part that did, however, catch my attention, was the mention of some "leaked email" he received.
FUEL FOR THE FIRE, MAN
I think I misread his blog anyway. I thought he was referring some other industry email hr received, but it looks like it was possibly just that same email from Songkick. Oops. Disregard. Daft Punk are once again not playing.
