They're gonna show up during Phoenix's set, play a little bit to build tremendous hype and then go on their own tour which will net them millions (enough to go on hiatus for at least 10 more years).

it already sold out. collectors editions of No End come with a time machine, enabling you to see a live daft punk set that literally does not end. the unfortunate consequence of this is that it's impossible to know, presently, whether you've seen this show or not. Do i buy the collectors edition, and get a time machine just for a chance to retroactively enjoy daft punk for eternity? Or do i balk at the collectors edition, deriding it as stupid? Who pays for Music anymore? Time Travelers, that's who.

Is this a real leak? I want it to be true, but there's a bunch of fakes right now. This one feels legit however.
Either way- I love it. If this is fake, then I can't imagine how much my mind is going to be blown at the real ones.

If the new album is indeed coming out in May (two months from now), why stir up all the hype now? Are they really trying to milk this thing for all it's worth? Or does this recent publicity suggest a more imminent release date?
I obviously don't have any answers, and I doubt any of you do either. Guess I'm just looking for some hope this thing is coming sooner than I think.
Nile said we would hear it before he is back in Japan. I doubt he was talking about a 15 second commercial. (He goes to Japan every April, apparently)
Thomas and Guy-Manuel were at the Kavinsky/Riton/Destructo/Oliver show in LA last night.
