May 10th. Thank God for the rain which has helped wash away the garbage and the trash off the sidewalks. I'm working long hours now. Six in the afternoon to six in the morning, sometimes even eight in the morning. Six days a week, sometimes seven days a week. It's a long hustle but it keeps me real busy I can take in three...three fifty a week, sometimes even more when I do it off the meter. All the animals come out at night. Whores, skunkpussies, buggers, queens, fairies, dopers, junkies, sick, venal. Someday a real rain'll come and wash all this scum off the streets

I think most of the regulars are deterred by the abnormaly high level of retardery that has spread itself across this new board like the fucking pox.

Lineup announcement time through the festival are typically the months for club sped to flourish but this year takes the fucking cake. You cant get a god damn post off without four or five mouth breathers vomiting all over their keyboards and pushing send. We used to police ourselves but the absence of people like Dave and Rue combined with the "Be nice to everyone/I forgot my thick skin at home next to my Phillip Glass CD" attitude has led to the situation we now find ourselves.

I still hold onto a sliver of hope. But tears and blood will have to be shed.
