luckily, it sounds like they're somehow building extra roads to get to the speedway this year so that should help traffic a lot

In an attempt to alleviate such issues in 2013, EDC organizers are planning a newly dedicated route for fan and artist shuttle buses and taxis and added parking staff to help direct the flow of cars.

"We also have additional roads that are going to allow you to get to the speedway," Rotella says. "We got the green light to up our capacity because we did sell out last year, but right now, the event is going to be the size that it was last year, not any bigger, until we know that the access routes in and out are smooth."

If you look at the Insomniac budget report, $260 + expenses is not reasonable especially with the shit they pulled for Saturday this year, with their only answer as "Well it said on the ticket that...."

I don't think Tier "2" (technically Tier 1 since others are "presales") was $260 last year, I thought there was a $220 tier 1 (after the 199 "presales/specials" whatever the fuck they are) - Either way, as someone who has been to several EDCs/Insomniac events, I'm kind of sick of headache of getting a decent priced ticket. Every year these tiered tickets go up in price from last years tier.

I wonder how many presale 3 day passes were available anyway... I mean they can fit up 100k capacity each day.

It's a headache when you have 3+ "processing" windows that have been going on for 30+ minutes. Tier 1 and Tier 2. With constant minor increases, most people will say, "meh whatever", but if each year you've attended and you've seen very little improvement and larger capacity, you wonder - Where the fuck is that extra money going? When you've attended several great events, the ones you attend in the future should deliver, not have you scratch your head and say: Is this worth it?

For how they handled the reaction to the "wind" problem - If you bought a Saturday ticket, go ahead and go to Sunday - If you had a 3 day pass... well sorry bro. - That's not really a proper way of handling a problem. You give one customer a full refund and able to make up for the lost day, while the person who paid more for a 3 day pass has basically lost money for wanting to come to your full event, rather than just ONE day.

Perhaps this year for the trance stage they won't have huge hanging speakers of death that cause a stage to get cancelled and cause a domino effect, shutting down the whole event. Yes, yes, "it wasn't shut down" there were just 1000s of workers who didn't know what the fuck was going on and that caused miscommunication forcing people to exit when they were allowed to stay at the Cosmic Meadow and the bleachers.
