if done right there could some awesome potential, just look at the Marvel movies....I can imagine a reverse Avengers, do the 7,8,9 movies and then do spin-offs like a Han Solo movie, Boba Fett movie, Chewbacca movie, Yoda movie(?!?!?!)....this could potentially be epic.

I'd like to see movies focused on new characters, instead of Han Solo or Boba Fett and et cetera... Like, a movie about some of the rebels fighting against the Empire before Luke and Han joined the scene, something that's far from The Force. I guess a Boba Fett movie would be cool like that, too, but I wouldn't mind a movie about a new bounty hunter character.

No Doubt, I just hope that more Live action than CGI goes into 7,8 and 9 than into 1,2 and 3. That, or hopefully the technology will be there to where the CGI won't be overpowering like in the prequels.

a Yoda movie would be EPIC and can encompass all things before the prequel trilogy, TI-87 has a good bounty hunter story too and is mostly unknown...Bail Organa could be a good one too that can look into the Rebels before A New Hope. how about a Palpatine movie, that would be awesome or an Old Republic movie too....the possibilities are endless!

Episodes 7,8,9 are basically written already through the various book series...Han and Leia have twins (Anakin and I forget the girls name), Luke slips to the Dark Side in his exploration of the full power of the force, starts Sith Order again, Anakin Solo and Sister becomes Jedis and defeat their Uncle Luke (not sure if he dies)...Peace returns to the galaxy.

I remember being told that the Thrawn Trilogy books were basically 7, 8 & 9 but that's bullshit. And Zahn wrote half a dozen more novels in the expanded universe, as did a pile of other folks.

I would be surprised if they used that or any other of the EU novels as the main basis for the new movies. They're not even necessarily going to use the quasi-canon as established.
