I had a prescription for Vicodin, due to a recent root canal, and I threw it away this morning. I didn't need the drugs, so I did the ethical thing.

Tommy, I don't think the ethics are as clearcut as you would lead us to believe. You could have sold those pills for (say) $100. That would buy you 5 lap dances at an upscale strip club. The exotic dancer would then have taken your $100, given $20 of it to the house, and spent the rest on a new pair extremely high heeled stilettos made in a sweatshop in Bangladesh. That sweatshop would have pocketed most of that money, sure, but they would have paid a couple bucks to the Bangladeshi children working there. Yeah, still can't figure out if you're trolling or not, but if not then what you did is not ethical. If you want to be ethical with disposal of medication, you should take them to take-back clinics that can, in many instances, work to recycle the drugs rather than leaving them in a landfill where there's a possibility that they can leach into water sources.

While Jack Herrer is a fantastic strain AND a 1995 Cannabis Cup winner, it does not necessarily make it the "best". You see, Jack is a sativa blend, so while you may get high and giggly as fuck, you won't feel the tension release from your shoulders when comparing it to an indica based strain. A quality many appreciate when getting high. So with that in mind, there is doubt about your choice of best strain.

I can't prove this because they injected me before I had time to object, but I really believe I could have gone through the root canal without any anesthetic. I do tolerate pain better than most people, but that's not what I was trying to convey.

Mouth pain is the worst. I went through child birth twice without medications (during the actual births), but I would not forgo pain medication for any oral/dental surgery. And hey, pain medication feels nice.
