12/12 - Dismemberment Plan @ Fonda
Lemuria > Waxahatchee > Mikal Cronin > Ty Segall > Joyce Manor > The Breeders > The Locust/Deerhunter > partial TVOTR > FLAG > Death Grips
Jonathan Richman > Mac Demarco > The Orwells > Kurt Vile > No Age > Flume/Beach House/Washed Out/Shlohmo > Omar Souleyman > My Bloody Valentine
anyone selling a VIP pass ?
I haven't seen Kurt Vile or HTDW live, does one deliver more than the other?
Charles Bradley > Toro Y Moi > Devandra Banhart > Deerhunter > TOTR > Simian Mobile Disco > YYYs
Pional > Poolside > Kurt Vile > No Age > Yo La Tengo > Baroness > Beach House > Washed Out > Les Savy Fav > MBV > Holy Ghost!
Also, good call on Baroness, Bmack. I haven't been excited to see a metal band since Mastadon in 2009.
Well... so much for seeing Holy Ghost! next weekend... Still... gonna be a great time!
I will gladly be skipping most of MBV for Holy Ghost.
Lots of partial sets.
Metz > Charles Bradley > Ty Segall > Horse Meat Disco > Toro y Moi > Classixx > Locust > Dan Deacon > Strfkr > SMD/Bicep > Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Pional > Poolside > Touche Amore > Glasser > Baroness > !!! > Flume > Beach House > Washed Out > Les Savy Fav > Omar Souleyman > Holy Ghost!
Realistically, if Rollins ever did a music tour again, he'd be performing his own music, which would definitely be worth skipping Death Grips for. As it is, FLAG sounds like a cool opener for Death Grips. If you're a Black Flag fan, then just appreciate the puppet show, and enjoy that hard hitting drummer. Death Grips will kill.
You are going to hear MBV no matter where you are on the festival grounds, so I don't know why you'd even bother going to listen to some other act with MBV bleed.
